Amazing food with a nice cozy ambience with hanging plants. We went on a busy weekend evening and waited for 20 minutes to get a table. The wait was worth it. We had the nigiri, amakara rolls and tanten ramen. Everything was excellent. I would highly recommend a reservation. I can’t wait to be back to this place on my next visit to San Diego. There was a vegan icecream on the menu, but any other vegan Japanese inspired dessert would be a great addition. I was craving mochi.

Best vegan food I have ever had. The little Italy is really good, and the tomato ramen is good too, but kinda spicy :)

Randomly decided to give this place a try before a show in the area. Turned out to be the best sushi I’ve had since going vegan over a decade ago. It was completely packed but they seated us at what appeared to be the last two seats immediately and asked if we were vegan, to give us the proper menu I assume. We had more to pick from than we expected and everything looked good. Service was friendly and surprisingly fast for how busy it was. Both in taking our order and in delivery of the food. We ended up getting the Stuffed Jalapenos, Nigiri, Stressed Out Roll, and Dragon roll. Everything was excellent. Would highly recommend each of those. Only thing I wish is that they had smaller half rolls so we could have tried more of the menu. As it was for two adults we were stuffed and took away leftovers off what we ordered. Rolls were 18, so too much to justify just ordering more and having potentially go to waste. That’s the only con I could come up with. Would happily eat here again.

LOVED IT!!!! It was my first time trying vegan sushi and I’m sold We ordered 2 sushi & 1 ramen - yum yum yum!!!! STRESSED OUT sushi is the best We tried Little Italy sushi too - which was good and next time (yes, I’m definitely going back), I want to try Believer. The ramen was also amazing! I think the choice of vegetables in the classic broth was perfect and taste was very earthy - absolutely amazing! And the best part of the place is that you can literally watch above you! Oh man, what a place! Worth the money and experience. Can’t wait to go back and take my family and friends.

Delicious! I wanted to try everything on the vegan menu. Got the Little Italy and one order of vegan sashimi. It is SO MUCH MORE than just veg sushi you can get most places. Such thoughtful, creative, amazing food. I feel like I finally 'get' sushi for the first time since I never had it before becoming vegetarian many years ago. Will make a point to come back if I travel here again.

Exceeded my expectations! They have two menus, one offering vegan options and the other with meat. The triple tomato ramen was spicy, if you can’t handle heat I suggest ordering the classic. The tofu was delicious and the pumpkin was out of this world. Their attention to detail is amazing. The believer sushi roll was a great recommendation by the server. Seems like you can’t go wrong with ordering! Thanks for making our vegan experience wonderful!

best vegan Japanese food we’ve ever had by far Love the quaint, comfortable atmosphere Service was really quick and friendly Really appreciated that they had a separate vegan menu Honestly, my wife had an issue ordering because there were so many choices I went with the dream come true platter, and my wife chose the little Italy It was clear that someone put a lot of thought and pride into providing an amazing culinary vegan experience. This team really love what they’re doing in the kitchen. Everything we were served was delicious with an extra bonus of the amazing presentation . food quantity was generous and I felt pricing was reasonable For sure, we’re going to come back We sat inside, which was super comfortable, but I would agree with the earlier review that if you sat outside, you should be aware that the planes are flying overhead ... frequently !!
